The fridge, seen in about every home. But this work is more than just a fridge. It comments on the modern kitchen, home and lifestyle. Comparing it to the old morals and idea of things.

When one thinks of the fridge, you might think of a place of indulgence and other things to eat. Here one expects the same thing, but when the two panels are opened one is almost heartbroken to see it's basically empty, only one or two scraps left behind. Through this we already see that the idea of a fridge has changed, also so has other things in the community and lifestyle of people. This shows the lack of interest or care that most people of the modern day and age have adopted. The morals of the modern people are then questioned as the only safe thing to digest is a cold beer. This shows that proper food and health is not at the top of the modern users list. They would much rather have alcohol or other things that might lighten the stress of modern day life.
